Description
Nitric acid is a liquid nitrogen fertilizer containing 68% HNO3. It is used as a nitrogen source, and its use is intended to neutralize HNO3– in irrigation water to adjust the pH to the desired level – between 5.5-6. Finally, it is used for cleaning irrigation systems (tires, filters, etc.).
Care is taken when using it and taking the necessary protective measures (mask, glasses, gloves, overalls, etc.).
